Delivery & Construction
Unless specified on the product page, all of our furniture and structures come unassembled and in their transport packaging. Items will be delivery to the front door or nearest kerbside depending on the size of item and courier used.
Introducing the Mexican chimenea, the perfect addition to your patio for those cozy evenings with family and friends. Our chimeneas are hand-made and hand-painted by skilled artisans in Mexico, ensuring each one is unique. The Waves design on this chimenea is molded into the body and funnel, giving it an authentic look.
The clay material used in our chimeneas is the perfect material for efficient burning. It absorbs heat and acts as a radiator, keeping you warm on chilly nights. No need for roaring fires, the clay becomes hot and radiates the heat, making it an easy-to-light and efficient burner.
This chimenea comes complete with a steel stand and clay lid and requires no assembly. It is larger in size, making it ideal for bigger gardens. It can take the Grill1-SS, so you can cook your favorite meals while enjoying the warmth of the fire.
Please note that Mexican chimeneas require some care and maintenance to ensure their longevity. They should be protected from the weather and only specific fuels and lighting fuels should be used. The paint finish may discolour when fired or if left outside all the time, but this does not affect its use. If needed, Mexican chimeneas can be repainted.

Curing a clay chimnea
All clay chimeneas need to be cured before full use. This can be done by filling with sand and lighting a small fire on top with kindling and paper; making sure the flames do not touch the sides. Repeating this a few times will ensure the chimenea does not crack.
