Crocus

We have a range of crocus in the large flowered Vernus varieties (Dutch Hybrids) and the Species Chrysanthus. We sell good sized corms (Crocus are actually corms not bulbs) 5-7cms in diameter, that will flower and thrive in the first year of planting. If comparing prices please look at similar sized corms as smaller cheaper corms will not perform as well. Bulbs/Corms are sold as a packed weight.

Mixed Crocus Pack. *Large flowering hybrid Vernus variety+ *Early-mid flowering (Early March- April) *Mixed flowers. *Can be grown in the garden or in pots. +Large flowering Vernus varities, also known as Dutch Hybrids, are larger and flower later than the Species and Chrystanthus varieties commonly grown. They produce leaves before flowering. We sell good sized corms (Crocus are actually corms not bulbs) 5-7cms in diameter, that will flower and thrive in the first year of planting. Mixed Species Crocus Pack. *Spring flowering Chrysanthus variety+ *Early flowering (February – March) *Mixed flowers. *Can be grown in the garden or in pots. +Chrysanthus varieties have slightly smaller flowers than the Dutch Hybrids but flower earlier. All produce leaves before flower buds appear, the flowers on most varieties are fragrant.
