An ideal plant for the home or office that is very easy to keep.
They prefer good light but try to keep away from strong direct sunlight. (By any window except south facing ones is ideal).
These plants are approximately 1.6m tall and are supported on canes. They will grow to over 2m tall with extra support, or can be cut back to keep them at their present height.
Minimum temperature 55 degrees fahrenheit. Try to avoid temperatures over 70 degrees fahrenheit. Feed between spring and autumn and keep the compost moist. Water less frequently in winter but don't let the compost dry out. Mist leaves if in a heated room.
Keep in a pot with a drainage hole sitting on a saucer, or if planting in a container with no drainage hole, put some gravel at the bottom for drainage. This plant as with most foliage indoor plants does not like saturated compost.
Re pot every two years.
