Slow growing shrub with green foliage that appears bright red when young and fades to chestnut orange and eventually pale green and dark green over Summer. Prominent clusters of bell shaped white flowers. Flowers in Apr-May. Height 3m, spread 1.5m. Position - Semi-shade. Soil - Fertile, humus rich, peaty acidic (lime free). Rate of growth - Average Foliage - Evergreen (retains leaves all year round). Hardiness - Fully hardy (no pretection needed during the Winter months). Our shrubs are grown from cuttings in 7cm pots then transplanted into 3 litre pots to grow on. They are supplied as strong well grown plants, actual size will vary according to the time of year but will generally be 30-50cms tall.
