Almost spineless leaved variety. Large glossy and green with a broad golden-yellow margin. Small white flowers in Summer followed by bright red berries late Autumn and Winter, assuming pollination by male flowers has been successful. Female variety. Height 6m, spread 4.5m. Position - Full sun, semi-shade. Soil - Fertile, well drained but moist, any soil. Rate of growth - Average. Foliage - Evergreen (retains leaves all year round). Hardiness - Fully hardy (no protection needed during winter months). Our shrubs are grown from cuttings in 7cm pots then transplanted into 3 litre pots to grow on. They are supplied as strong well grown plants, actual size will vary according to the time of year but will generally be 30-50cms tall.
