Upright shrub, mid green foliage and lax habit. An abundance of deep crimson-red pea-like flowers. Flowers May-June. Height and spread 1.8m. Position - Full Sun. Soil - Lightly sandy, well drained. Rate of growth - Fast. Foliage - Deciduous (looses leaves during Autumn/Winter), allbeit evergreen stems. Hardiness - Fully hardy (no protection needed during winter months). Our shrubs are grown from cuttings in 7cm pots then transplanted into 3 litre pots to grow on. They are supplied as strong well grown plants, actual size will vary according to the time of year but will generally be 30-50cms tall.
