A sort of 'Castlewellan' Gold, but it has foliage of a much better yellow than other forms. Excellent for hedging and doesn't scorch. Growth rate in first year, 1-1.5ft (45-60cm). Once established rate increases to 3ft (1m) per year. Mature unpruned height 50ft (15m), spread 25ft (8m). Position - Full sun. Soil - Well drained but moist. Rate of growth - Fast. Hardiness - Fully hardy (no protection needed during Winter months). Our conifers are grown in 9cm wide pots, then potted on into 3 litre pots. The size of the plant will vary according to time of year it is purchased but will always be well rooted and established and will generally be about 60cms tall.
