Shrub with low growing spreading habit, but may also be grown against a wall or fence. Small glossy green leaves, turn red in Autumn before leaf fall. Masses of tiny tinged, white flowers July and Aug followed by red berries in Autumn/Winter. Height as groundcover 45cm, as wall shrub up to 1.8m. Spread up to 3m. Position - Full sun, semi-shade, shade. Soil - Any soil. Rate of growth - Fast. Foliage - Deciduous (looses leaves during Autumn/Winter). Hardiness - Fully hardy (no protection needed during winter months). Our shrubs are grown from cuttings in 7cm pots then transplanted into 3 litre pots to grow on. They are supplied as strong well grown plants, actual size will vary according to the time of year but will generally be 30-50cms tall.
