Excellent wall or border shrub with thorny stems. Masses of pink and white apple blossom type flowers, followed by edible fruits in Autumn. Mid-green foliage. Flowers Feb-Apr. Height to 1.5m. Position - Full sun, semi shade, shade. Soil - Any soil. Rate of growth - Average. Foliage - Deciduous (looses leaves during Autumn/Winter). Hardiness - Fully hardy (no protection needed during winter months). Our shrubs are grown from cuttings in 7cm pots then transplanted into 3 litre pots to grow on. They are supplied as strong well grown plants, actual size will vary according to the time of year but will generally be 30-50cms tall.
