The unique material that the barbecue fireplaces are manufactured from means that there is no need to paint or render them. Buschbeck is the only European manufacturer of Masonry Barbecue Fireplaces to have been awarded the TUV/GS product safety Standard.
How do I site my Buschbeck? A Buschbeck must be outdoors on firm and even ground. It must be sited at least 1 metre away from any combustible materials and any overhanging branches.
How is the item delivered? The carriers will be in touch to arrange a delivery day, this is usually within 5-7 working days from when the order is received by us. IMPORTANT: Please note that this barbecue is delivered on a pallet to your kerbside ONLY. You MUST be at home to check the delivery and any damage must be recorded on the courier's proof of delivery, BEFORE you sign for the delivery. 2 people will then need to be available to move the barbecue from the pallet to your garden as the barbecues weigh approximately 500kg. The pallet will be delivered on a large vehicle (the size of a refuse vehicle) so if there is any limitation on access to your road, such as a narrow cul-de-sac, please discuss this with us first. A 7.5 tonne lorry with a tail lift may be requested as an alternative.
Is the item delivered assembled? Buschbeck barbecues are delivered on one shrink wrapped pallet complete with printed assembly instructions and can weigh between 400 and 550 kilos (depending on which model you order). Each Buschbeck barbecue contains approximately 10 sectional components of which only two require mortaring with the cement provided. Two people are required to assemble Buschbeck barbecues, as some of the individual components are quite heavy. Our transport providers will deliver your Buschbeck barbecue fireplace, as a kerb-side delivery to the nearest vehicular access point.
There is an additional postage charge for some postal areas (in Highlands, N Ireland, Chanel Islands, Isle of Wight) due to increased charges from the couriers, so if you live in any of the areas listed below, please contact us to make your purchase over the phone so the correct postage can be charged.
