Staunton Harold Nurseries & Garden Centre was our first garden centre and was purchased in 1990, then it was very much just a nursery selling the plants grown there. Now it has been developed into an extensive garden centre selling a huge selection of unusual varieties of plants, gifts, furniture and more. In the centre of the garden centre is the Peach House Restaurant where freshly made meals and snacks are served each day. Both the garden centre and restaurant are fully accessible by wheelchair users. Coach parties are also welcome in the restaurant by prior arrangement- please contact Neil Munton for details of refreshment options available on 01332 862769.
The garden centre is situated in the walled gardens behind the historic Staunton Harold Hall and adjacent to the Ferrers Craft Centre and Staunton Harold Church, making Staunton Harold a great destination for a day out. It is also only 3 miles from Calke Abbey, a National Trust property well worth a visit.
